Which version do I have/need?

Postby Gerry » Sun Feb 03, 2008 12:06 pm

New guy here. Got Photo Morpher from Acer. The link said I was clicking on "Morpheus Photo Morpher Lite". So I downloaded it and installed it. Works good. When I hit [Help], the [About Morpheus], it says I have Morpheus Photo Morpher v3.01 Personal Edition. So what exactly do I have??

When I read the tutorial, it shows that the file can be saved as any one of a long list of files (.JPG, .GIF, .PNG, etc...), but when I go to says a file, the only choice I have is animated .GIF - where's the other choices?

I would like to upgrade to a version where I can use more features.
Should I upgrade to the Standard (or do I currently have the Standard version?) or should I upgrade to the Professional? The Industrial seems like a bit much. When upgrading, do I get any financial credit for the version I have?

Lots of questions.... sorry. Thanks in advance.

Different resellers label things differently. You probably have a "Lite" edition which has a few less features than the "Standard" edition we normally sell on our website. If you have an activation code, you can select the Upgrade Discount from the purchase page at https://www.morpheussoftware.net/morphe ... rchase.php then enter your code on the next page and you will get a discount that way.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the pro version. The next page only gave me my order number, no place to enter an activation code.

If you did not specifically select that upgrade option on the first page, then you will go directly to the screen where you enter your name and billing information. If you select the upgrade discount option, you will need to verify your activation code between the page where you select items and where you enter your name and billing information.

I sent an email to the company, giving them my activation code that Acer gave me, as well as their order number. Hopefully they can make a correction on the billing amount.

Thanks for your help!
