Unable to activate

I continue to get an error when I attempt to activate. I have turned off all virus checking, person firewall, and spyware checking software. Is there a way to activate manually?

If you get the message that you are not online but you know you are, then there is no other possibility other than some program you are running is blocking access from Morpheus.exe, even if that program appears disabled.

Thank you for the prompt reply; however, you missed the question. I have tried to activate after booting into safe mode with NOTHING running in the background. The question that I asked was:

How do you manually activate the prorgram?

Activation requires an Internet connection. Safe mode may not even have any internet access typically.

Safe mode can be invoked with or without internet access. I booted into safe mode with internet access. I was able to reach the Morpheus site using the internet explorer; however, the activation still failed.

Safe mode does not guarantee there are no other programs running though. Clearly if you can get to www.morpheussoftware.net in IE but activation tells you that you are not online, you are either behind a proxy (external to your computer) which is only authenticating IE, or there is software still running which is blocking Morpheus.exe but allowing IE internet access.

I am running Norton Systemworks Premier 2007 and have turned off all of it and it will not let me activate the Morpheus Photo Morpher software. I'm at a loss as what could be causing it to not work. Is there any work around to get it activated or do you know of any other programs that are known to cause an issue with activation? Thanks!

The optional solution is really to figure out what is running on your computer that is causing programs to be blocked. On a default setup of Windows, there is nothing on the machine itself which could block a program from reaching standard web pages. If you are in a corporate environment, a proxy or firewall outside your machine may be responsible, but for typical home users, not even a router with NAT or a firewall will ever normally block web pages from being accessed.
