HTML

I see there is an option to generate the HTML code to put a morph on a web page. I check the box to do this but I do not know where to go to retrieve the code. Anybody? Thanks in advance and please email replies if you want.

When you render your timeline and select the location to create the movie file, and give the file a name, say "myanimation.avi", a file called "myanimation.html" will be created in the exact same location if you used that option to generate html. If you have Windows hiding file extensions (which is does by default usually) then you may just see what appears to be two files called "myanimation" with different icons.

Thanks Ark. You are correct in that I end up with two files with the same name and different icons. Although one is larger than the other they are essentially the same in that either one opens the morph in a browser. I had presumed the programme generated the actual html code for copying and pasting into a web page. Am I incorrect here? Sorry if I am missing something obvious. Your help is greatly appreciated,

Thanks again,

Hamish.

The two files you see are NOT the same though, one is html, one is the actual morph (in whatever format you rendered to, AVI or SWF, etc).
The HTML file DOES contain the actual html code you need to copy and paste -- just open that HTML file in Notepad or use the View Source option when you are in the web browser to see it.

Excellent! Thanks, Ark - I should have thought to 'view source' but as usual these things are only obvious to me after I am told of them!

I shall sleep easy, now.
