I thought I read that you can input Videos into the Morpher, is this true or no?

I know there is an option called 'Input Video', but I can't seem to Input any video. When the option is selected, I try to open a video and it prompts me that it's not the correct format or that it doesn't recognize it.

Is there a certain format I should be using?

You can load movie files into the pictures boxes with the regular load picture options. In general, AVI, MPG, and WMV are all supported, provided windows itself can read them through its own interfaces which Morpheus uses.

I used AVI when I tried the first time, is it more of a drag and drop type of thing?

And is it a frame by frame edit or is it possible to do two videos, which I don't see very possible..

First, make sure you are using the Industrial edition of Morpher, as the other two editions do not support using movies as input pictures. You can drag and drop pictures into the picture windows or timeline window to load them, so you can drag and drop movies into the same locations as well. You use the movie key frames as described at http://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheu ... key-frames to edit your morphs with movies for input pictures. These are different that the normal key frames you can create on the timline window.

I wish it would say which version I have on the CD or atleast on the program, I know what I have, but it just makes everything feel the same, which I know it's not.

I'm sorta confused as what I can actually do to the videos I input, it only does about 15 frames of the video, which potentially is fine, I just dont see what I could do to it.. I'll go read that link you posted, but i'd like your opinion too :P

The time (in seconds, not frames) of the input movies is exactly equal to the length of your morph (in seconds). The default morphs are set as 15 frames, 15 fps, and thus 1 second long. You can easily change those options in the Timeline Options and Morph Options windows.
If your input movie is 30fps and your morph is 15fps, you will still be using the first 1 second of the input movie (15 total frames) but not the first 15 frames of the movie, it will use every other frame, as an example.

Can you give me an example of what I could do, I tried playing around with it, adding dots or connecting dots with lines, but it just plays the Video like regular. One thing I can try I guess is using every 2nd frame and use lines. But still want your input on more ideas.. That is if you have any, if you don't I can try to figure something out myself.. Thanks though! :lol:

Also, when I put a video in there, the end is always whatever color I select for the background, how can I delete those ending frames?

I'm not sure what you mean here. You don't need to use the line tools to use the input movies at all. You probably want to be using two movies (one in each picture box) which are different. What do you mean by "the end is always whatever color"?

Well, using one video.

(I select a background color for each frame -- Morph>Options>Rendering Options>Background Color)

I play the video (you can see it on the timeline too) and you can see that as it plays, the video gets lighter or darker, depending on which background color you choose. Just wondering if I can take that out.. The video wont just play with no color transition.

Still confused? :x

It sounds like you are trying to create a warp of a movie, not a morph of two movies. To create a morph, you need two movies, or two images. At least you can load the same movie into the second picture window so you are morphing to the same thing instead of to a solid color. That won't be the same as a warp though. You can create warps with movies in Animation Suite Industrial, but not with Morpher Industrial.
