Problems With Purchased Standard Software

Postby TAZCOOKIEZ » Thu Oct 26, 2006 11:50 am

I downloaded the free trial and did one morph pic, everything went smoothly and then I tried to do another one and everything would work until I would try to put in a pic for load picture 1...after that it seems to freeze and does not let me go beyond that point. So, I thought it was maybe cuz I had to purchase it, so I did and the same thing is still happening....What is going on? PLEASE HELP! :o

Thanx,
TAZCOOKIEZ :D

What version of the program are you using? There is no "Load Picture 1" option in Morpheus v3.00 but there was in v1.85. It looks like you purchased v3.00 though.

Please answer the questions in order to help us help you. What version and what program are you using? Did you start from or are you still using v1.85?

What operating system are you using?
Are you using the layout wizard to create your morph, or clicking the load picture button on the toolbar inside the program?

I did...

Postby TAZCOOKIEZ » Sat Oct 28, 2006 10:51 pm

I used the layout wizard with the ONLY 2 pics I was able to create and have tried using the toolbar as well but nothing works. I did the same exact thing that I did the first and ONLY 2 times that I was allowed to morph 2 pics; and that was during the trial period only.....after I purchased the software I have not been able to do ANYTHING AT ALLLLL with the software....How long is it gonna take for me to get it up and running and what happens if It NEVER ends up working...am I going to get refunded? I mean u pay for something and u expect to be able to use it and get what u paid for!! I already tried to send an e-mail to the support e-mail posted at top of page and I have not recieved a response or any kind of action what so ever! This is ridiculous! What is going on here?

What is going on is basically that you are not providing any information about what you are doing other than "it doesn't work" and we are trying to locate why and where the problem is happening. We are trying to help you but you need to help us first.
Please describe in more detail about the program, what windows you see, what you click on, and what happens, so we can understand where more specifically the problem is happening.

I am going to type in step by step...exactly as I have done.

Postby TAZCOOKIEZ » Sat Oct 28, 2006 11:11 pm

1. I click on Photo Animation Suite program to open it; once it opens...
2. "Create a new morph layout" is dotted.
3. "Show this wizard when the program starts" is checked.
And
4. "Use beginner mode menus" is checked as well.
5. I click Next.
And a box pops up with 2 Load Picture boxes.
6. I choose a pic in the 1st box & I CANNOT go beyond that point.

As a new user I hesitate to offer advice but, following the steps that you list did you:

click on the second picture box and attempt to "load picture" (via toolbar or right-click)?

When you are at the screen with the two Load Picture buttons and the two picture boxes, when cannot you go beyond that point?
Does it lock up right when you see that screen?
Can you click the Load Picture button? If so, do you see the Open Picture dialog which lets you select the picture file? Does the picture preview show up in the white box below?
If you DON'T click the Load Picture button, can you continue with both picture boxes empty by just clicking Next again?

6. I choose a pic in the 1st box & I CANNOT go beyond that point.

The open picture dialog box does come up...I choose a picture and click OPEN and then that is where I can no longer continue...it appears as though its attempting to continue only it takes forever and freezes.

Are you always selecting the same picture? Or does only one particular picture cause the program to freeze up? Do other pictures load fine? What is the file type of the picture which you are trying to load? Can you try loading system-provided images such as My Pictures -> Sample Pictures or any of the bitmaps in C:\windows ?
