info on lines!

Postby cathadhaka » Fri Oct 20, 2006 10:43 pm

Hello,

I've checked the 6 pages of this forum, but there is no post about "lines" (thought I'd check first, my questions in my last post had been posted many times, sorry for not checking first!)

So, here is my question: How do line work? In the help pages, there is nothing about them. I mean there is something that shows how to draw, but I didn't get what's they are meant to do. (there's something about triangle too I don't get) (I mean, I'd like to know if there is somewhere an example of a morph made with lines and one made without lines. The tutorial about morphing doesn't show the "use the lines" steps)

I've done a couple of morphing, and I'm quite happy with the results, but if there is a way to do even better... I'll take it!

Hope someone can help me here!

Take care.

The first two pictures at http://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheu ... .php#lines show you pretty much what lines do. For the most part, the dots are connected automatically with lines which make up all of the triangles. It is really only when you don't like the automatic triangle setup that you really need to use lines to change how the triangles are formed.

Some of the example morphs do use lines though, and if you select them all and press Delete, you can see the same morph without any lines then.
