The installer is the same either way, what matters is that you entered your activation code on the compuer you want to use Morpheus on.

What doesn't work about the preview, can you be more specific about the trouble you are having?

I did not get an activation code for the trial, is that right?
the trial opens and I inserted a start and end picture. the preview screen slider does not move. nothing happens when I play and the preview picture is a composite of both picture at the same time.
thanks for any help

You receive an activation code when you purchase. Morpheus v1.85 is no longer available for purchase on our website though since it has been replaced by the new v3.00 products since March.

In Morpheus v1.85, the preview slider does not move unless you move it. There is no play button in Morpheus v1.85 either.

No, you only receive or need an activation code when you purchase the program. The free trial does not require any activation code.

DivX, or XviD (a free alternative, both are MPEG-4 bases codecs) both result in small file size and high quality. Anybody viewing the AVIs online will need to have the correct codec installed though. You can set XviD to mark the AVI files with the DivX fourCC so they can be played by people with DivX installed instead.

I purchase the Pro version because I thought they were included. They proable are, but I did not find them or maybe did not reconize them.
Are there instructions on how to use them?

No, codecs are not included with Morpheus, they are a generic part of Windows used by any program to compress AVIs. Morpheus supports any codec you install because it uses the standard Windows interface to compress the AVIs, just like any other program would. Installing and supporting specific codecs would not be something we could provide any more details on since we are not the authors of any of the codecs. I'm just recommending MPEG-4 based codecs as the best because they are the newest technology, which results in the highest quality and smallest files.
