Upgrade V3.17 will not install

Some help please. The new version 3.17 refuses to install because it says a newer version is already installed which is false. I deleted the old version 3.01 but v3.17 sill won't install. I have sent this problem to support as well.

Sometimes OS X can get confused about what you have installed. The way to fix this for any app (not just Morpheus) is to just delete the relevant files from /Library/Receipts/
In this case, fine all files that start with Morpheus in that location, and delete them, then install the software.

I tried your suggestion, but there were no Morpheus files in that folder.

If there are no files in that folder with names such as "MorpheusPhotoMorpher-301.pkg" then OS X will not think the program is installed, and the installer will not know about old/new versions existing. I do not believe the location of that folder changes with any version of OS X.

Same problem, /library/receipt there is no ANY Morpheus file. Deleted everything possible, restarted MAC. And the message:
Morpheus Photo Morpher can't be installed on the disk. A newer version of this software already exist on this disk. I am using 10.8.5 v :twisted:

Use the menu option in Finder: Go -> Go to Folder and enter: /private/var/db/receipts/
On certain newer versions of OS X, they have hidden the installed-software receipts in that location instead.
Please check for all files that start with Morpheus as well as net.morpheussoftware.Morpheus
All of these files related to Morpheus are safe to delete.

I'm pretty sure I deleted all the Morpheus files but I still get an error about already having a version installed.
