Mac OS 10.5.8 and 10.6.7 bugs

Hi,

Having just bought and installed Morpheus Pro for Mac, I have noticed two anomalies on OS 10.6.7, MacBook Pro 17" early 2011.

1) There's an additional, spurious Apple icon in the Menu bar, to the right of the System Apple Icon. Clicking it highlights it as if invoking a menu but of course there is no actual menu. This anomaly is not present on my olde MB Pro running 10.5.8.

2) As others have pointed out, there IS a bug concerning the Tool menu implementation of Select Dots and Move Dots. As the uploaded screen snap shows, these two options are always greyed out. Also, the S and D keyboard shortcuts don't work; only the A[dd Dots] shortcut works when either Select or Move dots has been selected using the picture toolbar buttons.

Having working keyboard shortcuts is essential for working professionally with Morpheus.

I also experienced a crash while clicking out of curiosity on the spurious 'extra' toolbar Apple icon and then clicking on the left image toolbar. Crash report is enclosed.

I hope that these glitches can be fixed soon…

These bugs have been fixed for the next release. You can work-around the Move/Select Dots by clicking the corresponding button on the toolbar on the picture window. They should become enabled and allow the keyboard shortcuts afterwards.

Many thanks for fast feedback! I'm looking forward to the update.

But the S and D shortcuts, and corresponding menu items, are not affected by selecting the respective functions using the tool buttons…

So, no work-around on my systems until the advent of the update.

i have grayed out menu selections PLUS no buttons on the picture view...suggestions?

unfortunately, but i bought PRO...have project...hopefully morph is still in business and can help...i am in a difficult place

To bkr1959: you didn't state which System version you're on. If you're on Lion (10.7), there may well be further problems than the ones I've listed above in this thread. I'm still on 10.6.8 and could work around the bugs, even if it slows the workflow way down and keeps the irritation level high.

If you're on Lion, perhaps you could put 10.6 on an external boot disk and see if it helps.

Unfortunately, there are other bugs that have kept the builds from being released publicly. You can get the latest beta version if you would like, please email support and I will forward the email on from there.

I just bought/downloaded version 3.01 last night and still see the aforementioned bugs. The extra apple menu doesn't seem to hurt anything (haven't really tried yet) but it does take up valuable real estate on my small screen. I'm running 10.6.8. Thanks.

I have system 10.8.2 and I bought my Morpheus 21 March 2009 am I completely out of the picture. When I bought it in 09 it worked like a charm!!
