GIT is useful for connecting 2 or more players together into a sort of virtual LAN (simialr to a VPN).
This would not be useful for Ragnarok for a couple of reasons:
First, in order to make GIT work, you must have a copy running both on the client and the game server, and I doubt the sysops at Ragnarok would be willing to run GIT on their server for you.
Second, GIT is meant to be used for games that have a "LAN" mode where one of the players can host a game and play it with his friends on a local network without needing to be connected to the internet. GIT emulates this "LAN" by using the internet. If the game requires that you have internet access to play, GIT would be inappropriate.
BTW, why exactly do you want to use GIT with Ragnarok? (what is it that you were hoping GIT could fix for you?)

P.S. If my English is too complex, please tell me. I can try to reword this if you need me to. (I might guess that English may not be your native language because Ragnarok is most popular in the Asian-Pacific area.)
