I click on "Picture --> Load Picture1" then I choose an avi file that I captured from my Canon GL2. Then it gives me the error "invalid AVI format. Is there a fix for this? I'm using the demo copy to check out how well this works. So far no good.

That can mean one of two things - first being that the AVI file is not even an AVI. Some programs rename WMV or even other formats as AVI since media player usually doesn't care. Morpheus can only read actual AVI files. Second being that the codec used by that AVI does not properly support all the functionality it should. Check what codec the AVI uses and verify that it is actually an AVI file.
