When i try to run git....i get this error:

Unable to open the packet device.
Please selected a different one under Advanced Configuration options.


The thing is that it doesn't list anything at all.

The most likely cause of this is the use of a modem. If your computer does not use an Ethernet card for connectivity, GIT will probably not work. :( This is a limitation of the WinPCap library used by GIT to caputre network traffic.
