GIT Stopped Working-Help!

I was using GIT to play RA@ (Yuri's Revenge) for more than 8 months. It was even working ater installing windows XP SP2. On June 23rd, GIT stopped connecting. We've tried everything from basic restart to removing onecare, disabling SP2 firewall, openning the ports and changing GIT configuration; nothing works. We are both getting packets forwarded but not receiving any packets. :!:
Can someone help please? I've tried all possible answers on the forum but with no luck. :cry: :!: :!:
