You shouldn't need to change your network numbers. You just need the IPX protocol installed on all the computers and the frame type set to the same type on each computer and any IPX game should work.
Frame type 802.2 is the best, and that is good to just force it to that, but network number 00000000 should work fine.
IPX is a completely different protocol then TCP/IP and uses different numbering schemes to communicate. Its addresses are 80bit instead of TCP/IP's 32bit IP addresses. For IPX, you have a 32bit "network number" and a 48bit "computer address". The computer address portion of the address is basically always the same as your ethernet card's MAC address, and the network number is like your subnet. Unless you have MAC address conflicts, you shouldn't need to adjust the network number. In fact, two computers on different network numbers shouldn't be able to reach eachother using IPX typically anyways.
