How can I configure GIT for Yugi Oh: Joey The Passion?
This game has the option for playing a 2-player duel via LAN. We usually use BattleLAN for playing it by internet, but it doesn't work pretty good.

could someone explain how? I seem to do everything correctly but the person never connects to me when i check connection status any help would be apreciated. Battle.Lan sucks and we would rather use the better alternitive but I and other people have had no luck with it

the game communicates on tcp/udp port 6112, by googlesearch.
Make SURE your LANs are compatibly addressed.
By that, i mean, you have to be on the same ip subnet.
1) make sure all your routers and computers (between the both of you!) have different ip addresses (on the same subnet)
2) pick different addresses for yourselves. done.
example: you: router: 192.168.1.1, computer 192.168.1.2, printer 192.168.1.5
friend: router: 192.168.1.10, computer 192.168.1.11, microwave 192.168.1.69
Compatible subnet (192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0), different addresses for everything.

set up git as follows.
Config:
other person's internet address
port 213
method udp-fastest
don't checkmark 'be tcp listen'
ipx sockets none
tcp/udp ports: pick Starcraft or type 6112, click add, click ok

then go to advanced config.
check these boxes
802.2
eth II
arp
zlib
tcp
udp
icmp
also match source port
don't send routable
the rest leave unchecked/blank
done. click ok

make sure you set your router to forward udp port 213 to your computer.
if you don't have a router, you've got some more issues to work through.

Have your friend do the same thing... they put your internet address in the config box, and the rest is the same.

good luck
