NFSU2 - behind router (*need help)

lets say
WAN IP 200.100.50.10
Router IP 192.100.2.1
As far as I can gather information from this website is that I can forward my router ip to the WAN IP so that I can join or other people can join the game that usually FROM LAN connection ? If so is there any guide about this matter using the GIT, and how do I check which port will my LAN connection will be using?
