Generals Zero Hour Multiplayer

I want to play the generals zero hour with my friend.I have an adsl connection(384/128),modem-alcatel speedtouch 530, and my friend has a dial up connection.
Can someone please tell me what to do so as to play with him?
I really cant figure out what to use at configuration settings of GIT
