I have installed GIT, with winpcap 3.0 (from the installer), then try to run git and I get the error "Unable to open the packet device, please select a different one under advanced options." I then go their, and this is what I see (http://www.ww333.info/git.jpg). After i reinstalled git, same thing. I then reinstalled winpcap 3.1 beta 3, rebooted, and I am still having the same issue.

Can anyone help me out?? thanks

GIT does not support WinPCap 3.1 beta because of that exact reason. You probably already had WinPCap 3.1 or higher installed if you had that trouble to begin with. GIT 0.99 BETA 2 adds support for WinPCap 3.1, there is another thread here where you can download this version of GIT.

The problem was that I didnt uninstall before reinstalling 3.0. Thanks for the help. :D
