Router-to-Router setup, Warcraft III, Please Help..
Posted: Sat Aug 07, 2004 12:12 amHi there, I am trying to setup a tunnelled connection between two routers, over the internet. The setup is as follows:
(Me)---> Router ----> Internet<----Router----(Friend)
Now for the life of me, I cant figure out exactly what I am supposed to do in order to get this thing working. Both routers are linksys, and support port forwarding etc...
Now, I would like to be the "host" machine, so I have accordingly forwarded port 213, to my LAN IP 192.168.1.XXX
My friend has done the same on his network, so we are both using the same ports. I understand the basics of what is happening, how ever I am not sure exactly what to do in the "configuration" and "advanced configuration" screens...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
