All ports forwarded, but still nothing?

I've only managed to get GIT to work with starcraft successfully... I've been trying to get it to work with counter-strike but to no success... and also Halo: trial.. We've tried to forward all the tcp/udp ports.. GIT says packets are being forwarded and recieved, but we cant see it in the game...
also, another one of my friends and i have been trying to get another lan game to run.. but he is using a usb modem.. We're trying to get the loopback feature on windows to make him a virtual ethernet card, but we have no idea on how to configure that..
