Then you have no network adapters installed at all. Your modem is not a network adapter and unless you install drivers for some sort of normal network adapter, nothing will show up there.

Try upgrading the drivers for your usb modem. It is most likely that it is simply too cheap of a piece of hardware to support such functions as needed by GIT. For a DSL modem, can you hook it up in a better way? USB DSL modems are not the most reliable way to use DSL. If you can hook your DSL up through a normal network card, it will be much more reliable and easier to use programs such as GIT.

There is no guarantee that upgrading the drivers work. The only way to do it for sure would be to hook your DSL modem up via ethernet instead of USB and then install drivers for your network card.

I've got a solution for using GIT with an usb modem :D

This are the things you will need:

- A USB Modem
- A 10/100 MBit network card
- Another Computer with a network card (It doesn't have to be a fast one)
- Of course a network cable to connect the to computers

You have to give to gaming computer (computer A) the adress: 192.168.0.1
and the other (computer B) computer the adress: 192.168.0.2

The default gateway for computer B = 192.168.0.1

On the computer A in GIT: Advance Configuration choose the network card as device and set the From Hostname (internal) ip : 192.168.0.2

Now GIT calls the computer B, Computer B recieves the data and passes it, via the default gateway and computer A, onto Internet...

To make sure no collisions will occur: (this is only if you have more than 2 computers)

Shut down all other computers exept A & B

I hope this solution will work :D
