Git, IPX, and two networks behind NAT

I have 2 computers behind NAT I want to play GTA2 with ipx or tcp connection. I can forward ports only on 1 NAT. So I forwarded 213 port on my linux and my friend connected to git. Did I have to set some options when using forwarded ports? I set every packet types in advanced and all sockets. When we create game it is still not visible.

Before I tried GIT I was trying with PPTPD - linux vpn server. It doesn`t support broadcast so I couldn`t play over tcp. Also I couldn`t get it work with ipx protocol. But maybe this would help if we have ip in the same network? But how to configure git over vpn connection?

Thanks for reply.

I get it myself:)
So I`m posting settings for gta2 ipx:
all ipx sockets, frame: ieee 802.2, pcaket types: nlsp/old ipx.
It works not so fast as in local network but I think that it is playable.

I have some question about tcp/ip in Git.
What i should set to correctly forward ip packets? 2 networks must be in the same pool of ip`s? F.e. I must have 192.168.15.17 and my friend 192.168.15.18? And what options did I need to set in git to make it work properly.

What does Alter source ip(for nat) option do?
