Pay for GIT?

Postby ack » Mon May 21, 2007 11:04 am

Hi Ark, I've used GIT for a few years now, and it's been great help to connect with friends to play games.

But I've always wondered why it's free? Don't you want a little something for your time? Too much support headaches?

I don't see GIT as something that would sell very well. And yes, support is near impossible for most people because I don't know their network configuration and I don't have most of the games people may be using with GIT.

Hmmm... I guess people don't understand the value of a virtual LAN party, or the privacy (and security) GIT provides. But I guess it's a niche market.

Oh well, if you ever feel it should be shareware, donation, or whatever, it's fine by me.
