Unable to activate

I downloaded a copy of Morpheus 1/13/07 and also bought a backup CD copy which I received a few days later. Every time I try to activate my copy using my activation number I get an error message saying I have to be online to active, and that I should turn off all virus stuff/firewall etc. I have had our organizational IT guys in my office turn everything off and I'm still getting the message. The FAQ mentions port 80 which is all ok accoring to our IT guys.

Please help - this is more than a little frustrating.

Unfortunately, there is really no other possibility other than something is still blocking the program from reaching our website. Some firewall programs will continue to block traffic even when they appear to be "disabled", so you may need to explicitly add an "allowed" entry for morpheussoftware.net into your firewall software. Another option is to try adding morpheussoftware.net to the Trusted Sites zone in control panel/internet options.
