Morphs are out of focus on my DVD

I am using Morph Software Professional and have saved my morphs in an AVI file. I have included them in a Ulead Video Studio 9 movie, and burned them onto a DVD. When we play it back on TV, the morphs are out of focus and seem to shimmer!!! They look okay in the computer version of the movie, but the DVD is not good. Please let me know if this is a common issue and how to fix it.

If the AVIs from Morpheus play fine on your computer, then it would seem like the changes you are talking about are happening when you are using Ulead Video Studio. What output size are you rendering to when you create your AVIs? Perhaps you want to use a size similar to DVD size such as 720x480 but otherwise there is probably not much you can do to change that from Morpheus.

I saw the 640 x 480 option for the timeline, but how do I render to 720 x 480??

Also, when I am rendering I chose (raw Uncompressed). Is that correct?

In the Timeline Options window, you can set the morph size to any size you want at all, just type in any numbers you want.
There is no "correct" option for rendering, but if you want a perfect-high-quality image and super-large file size, then Uncompressed is fine.

Thanks. I looked back at some of my morphs on the computer and the morph animation is not as clear as the photos themselves. The smooth lines of someones arm appears to be a series of squares running together and choppy. A roofline in the distance is not straight, but is uneven. Do you have any advise regarding this? Thanks for all of your help.

Make sure Rendering Speed is set to 1. You can also up the fps to 30, or 29.97, since the default is 15. Change the morph size to 720x640. Beyond that, there is nothing else you can do to increase the quality since that is close to what a DVD would be anyway. If you do not like the way your morph is animation, then you must adjust the dots on your pictures so that things move as you want them to.
