I am considering purchasing the Morpheus Photo Animation Suite. Before making this purchase, I need to know what formats I can "render" morphs in. My DVD program will accept the following formats:
Mpeg video formats / avi / dvr-ms / wmv / Quick Time / DVD video formats.
Am I able to render morphs in the Photo Animation Suite in any of these formats?
Thanks!

The Professional edition or higher can render to AVI or DV AVI formats using any installed codec on your system.

Thank you. I figured I would get the Photo Animation Suite / Industrial version. So, that should do what I need.
I saw the program through Broderbund, and have e-mailed and asked them 5 times! Never received a response that just said yes or no. Thank you for getting this answered for me!

One more question though - after reading your response - what is an "installed codec" ??

An AVI file is just a container for a movie, it does not inherently specify any type of compression itself, like an MPG file does. A codec is the COmprsesor/DEComperssor you choose to compress the movie with when creating the AVI, such as Microsoft Video 1 (installed by default with Windows) or DivX (not installed by default, but generally higher quality and produces smaller AVI files), or any other of the codecs on your system. You will see a list of codecs to pick from when rendering to an AVI file.

Thank you again for the information. The further I get into this, the more I realize I need to learn and figure out!
