Dive Boat Has No Internet Connection

We, unfortunately, bought Morpheus from Broderbund. Prior to purchasing the program we checked the system requirements and found no mention of an intrenet connection being needed. We also asked the BB sales rep and he said none was required except to download the program.

We bought the program, put it on a CD and took it out to the boat to install. Guess what? An internet connection is needed to setup the program.

Do we have any options besides returning the program? We really think it would be a fun thing to have on the boat but, it is not worth removeing the computer and taking it to shore just to activate the program.

It is mentioned on our website, in our purchase terms, that all activation codes require an internet connection, at http://www.morpheussoftware.net/company/terms.php
Broderbund is a reseller and we cannot control the content of their promotions or website. There is a way to activate by email by copying and pasting some information, but this only applies if you purchase the program directly from us on our website. Our system cannot verify 3rd party orders for that method, so for now, yes, you will need internet access to activate, just once, and it will not require it again after that.

I have cancled my order with BB and will be ordering it directly from Morpheous. I would suggest that anyone who has ordered it from BB within the last 60 days use the return policy and order from Morpheous directly. BB is way more trouble than it is worth.
