DV-avi and morheus 1.85

Postby videowaldi » Thu Dec 09, 2004 11:30 am

Hi old members, I'm a new one.
I have bought morpheus 1.85 and I want to load DV-avi into this program, but it doesn't work. I can't load never an DV-avi and I can't render to compressed DV -avi. I use Pnnacle Studio 9 plus. What I have to do that it works?
Best wishes from Germany

DV-AVIs are not normal AVI files and Morpheus will only read or produce normal AVI files which the MS Video for Windows library will understand. The codec list is generated by windows.

Hi Ark
thank you for your fast answer. That means I have to render an DV -avi into a normal avi? Its possible with virtualdub? Then I can morphing and after this I have to recode to DV-avi? Does it works?

You should have to try it and find out. If virtualdub supports DV-avi files, it will likely work. You can install the HuffYUV codec and use that for normal AVI files in order to minimize quality loss.

Hi Ark,
sorry for the delay. If I want to morph AVI's I need morpheus 1.85 PRO or it works also with standard version 1.85 (without pro)?
When I start morpheus the software want to get a connection to the homepage and I should upgrade to 1.85PRO. It's correctly. Can I switch off this

Only Morpheus Pro will let you use AVI file input or output.
