I own Basic Version, want to Trial the Industrial Version

I have owned the Basic version 3.16 for more than a year and have had good results. I now want to "try before upgrading" to Industrial or Professional. I really want to test drive the movie capability.

I downloaded 3.16 again, but was kept at the Basic version. Any ideas?

If you have activated the program, it will function as the version you activated it is. You cannot revert back to the trial.

I suppose I could try the features on another computer... that should let me test drive...

Good news. I tried the Industrial Version on another Windoze computer and was able to fiddle with mpeg movie files and produce 1280x1024 AVI files with adequate clarity with UNcompressed AVI..

I initially had codec messages - caused by not specifically selecting the Movie file type when loading.

One remaining question is codecs. I'm using the Microsoft one that comes with Windoze7. Are there better options? Not too costly?
