still jerky

I am still not pleased with the quality (smoothness) of my morphs when I see them via imovie. They appear to play nicely in "Preview"---but it this simply because the visual frame is so small?

In Morpheus, my fps is at 30---render speed, 1---quality 90.

My "frames in this morph" is set at 60---"frames to hold at start set at 6---"frames to hold at end" set at 6.

I am "rendering" via Quicktime and mpg4---using "best quality.

Under "settings" I have tried both 30fps all the way up to 60fps.

Is there something I am missing to make my end result look better (i.e. smoother)?

I'd really like to improve it.

Is my "morph" frame speed too slow?

Do you have any suggestions as to a good combination of rates for "frames, hold at start and end"?

Many thanks.

Use the "Proof" mode in the Preview window to see exactly what will be rendered. It should look and play exactly like the file you render, unless your CPU is not fast enough to render it in real time, which is very unlikely.
