film quality

Postby johnimmel » Wed Mar 16, 2011 6:21 pm

I've finished my morph sequence---30fps---90 quality---rendered as a .mov file.

BUT I am disappointed in the quality I see in imovie.

The film is not nearly as "smooth" as I was seeing in the Morpheus "Preview" window.

The video in imovie seems a bit jerky---will it be smoother when it is rendered?

Or can you suggest better options prior to rendering it in Morpheus?

Thanks

The smoothness is largely determined by FPS. Higher FPS will be a smoother morph. If the quality is poor and blocky, or the frames jumpy, you may have selected a poor codec. Try selecting a different codec such as H.264.
