Now that I have purchased Morpheus, the trial Morphs I made will not load.

I only see coloured dots and no picture in my saved file!

Why is this? :?

The pictures are not saved inside your layout file. Only the location to where the pictures exist on your computer is stored. If you move the pictures, and Morpheus cannot locate them when you load your layout, you will see a message prompting you to locate the picture manually.
