Rendering changes length of morph.

I set up my morph to be a specific length to coincide with the length of a song I plan to use, but when I render it, it is a full minute shorter. I have each morph set to 4 seconds, with 1 second at beginning and end. Am I missing something?

How many morphs are in your timeline, and are they linked to each other or separate?

47 morphs, lined to each other.

47 morphs, each set to 4 seconds long with 1 second in between each one would total 1+(47*(4+1)) = 236 seconds long, or 3:56.

The preview window should say (3:56.00) at the end of the Time: display.

Yes, that is correct, almost 4 minutes long. But when I render it, the resulting file is almost a full minute shorter. I have rendered it to uncompressed avi and animated gif, and both end up being almost a minute shorter. I ended up "stretching" it in my movie software, but it makes it choppy and not as smooth as I had wanted.

I just wondered if there was some reason why the final file was shorter than the preview. Guess I could go back and make each morph longer than I want, and see what hapens. Other than that, it is looking good.
Thanks.

If the Preview window says the total length is 3:56, the rendered animation would also be exactly 3:56.
