Photo 'stretching'

Postby cactus » Tue Nov 03, 2009 5:02 am

I've just purchased the Industrial version, I was wondering if there is a way to maintain the ratio of the photo when making it bigger or smaller, to stop it from being squashed or stretched and end up not looking quite right (ie, on Photoshop if you hold the 'shift' button down it will hold the ratio of the photo)?

The default is to stretch each picture to exactly fill the morph area as defined in the Timeline Options by the Width and Height settings.

Each picture has it's own Picture Layout window you can access under the Picture menu, available only in the Industrial edition. From there, you can select one of the two scale options to maintain the picture's aspect ratio, or the top option as well. The 4th option, which is the default, will stretch the picture and disregard the aspect ratio.
