Trouble with animated gifs...

I have rendered several timelines to animated .gif files, but when I try to see them, there seems to be only one pic- the first one. What am I doing wrong? I would like to import them into a Powerpoint presentation, and I have read about the limitations, but they won't matter when I can't even get past inserting the file...!

Try the GIF file in your web browser instead. Chances are, whatever you are loading or displaying the GIF in, doesn't recognize animated GIFs, and only shows the first frame.

Gif files will only "run" with the full animation if you use the Slide Show facility within PowerPoint. Are you doing this?

I am not sure what you mean by 'using the slideshow utility"... do you mean running the slideshow? If so, then yes, I did that, and only the first picture was there...
