What are the best settings to achieve maximum resolution? Render time and file size are not an issue.

Where do I go to find the 32 bit option?

How do I eliminate the "shadow" of the outgoing image? It looks too much like a dissolve when I see the outgoing (source) image fade out during the morph.

The best settings is highly subjective. You can set the width and height as large as you want in the Timeline Options window. Quality is largely a factor of the file format you render to, and for certain formats such as AVI, the codec you select and options for that codec.

There is no 32bit option unless you mean specifically the alpha channel vs 24bit with no alpha channel. Alpha channel options are also in the Timeline Options window.

I don't understand what you mean by that last question.
