Movies

Postby Siobhan73 » Mon Dec 22, 2008 9:33 am

OK so it looks as if I can morph movies - right. But when I click under 'Pictures@ for 'Movies' I find that it is unclickable. How do I get it working please? :?

Movie input is supported in the Industrial editions of Morpher or Animation Suite, which is currently available only for Windows.

Check Help/About to see which edition (Standard, Professional, or Industrial) you have.

The Professional edition can export to AVI files as one of its options, while the Industrial edition is needed to import movies for your picture windows. I'm not really sure from your original post what feature you are trying to use though, it is fairly vague.

Oh sorry. I am trying to use the movie feature. But you mentioned AVI files, it doesn't seem to be on mine. Sorry hope you understand this. It says import movie option at the end of the list under picture but it is not showing up like the picture one it is sort of washed out which means I can't click on it.

The Input Movie Options window, found under the Picture menu, is only used when using a movie instead of a still picture as the source picture. Here you can set either the start time or the end time of the movie. Morpheus Photo Animation Suite will never change the speed at which input movies are "played" as they morph so if the input movie has a different frame rate than your morph has set in the Timeline Options window, frames from the input movie will either be skipped or duplicated to keep it in sync.

Now I've C &P this from the help pages so I should be able to do it, but it is solrt of blanked out on my programme.

OK yes found out I would need the Industrial for Movies. Thanks a lot for your help :)

Yes, you need the Industrial edition to use that feature. If you wish, you can upgrade for the difference in prices of course. If you have any other questions about that feature, we are happy to help you out.

Would it be worth upgrading? i'm a pensioner and the programme I have is great, but I do quite alot of videoing and I wonder if it would be worth my while to upgrade. It looks so expensive though.
