I am upgrading from v3.01 to v3.10 (Morpheus Photo Morpher).
I run the installer program and get the message "Setup has detected that Morpheus Photo Morpher is currently running. Please close all instances of it now, then click ok to continue, or Cancel to exit".
I am quite certain that Morpheus is not running.
System info:
O/S - Windows Vista Home Premium
Sony Vaio VGN-FZ140E

The installed looks for any program with the name Morpheus Photo Morpher running, and if there is any, it shows that error. If you followed a link to download v3.10 from inside of the program, and just ran the download without saving it to your desktop or someplace, then you probably still have Morpheus running in the background.

I saved the v3.10 executable locally on my hard drive and ran the program 'after' gracefully terminating the v3.01 program.
With this being unsuccessful, I rebooted my system and again attempted to run the executable - the result was the same message as indicated in my original posting.
I looked at all of the processes (using task manager) and could not see any obvious processes or applications related to Morpheus running at the time (other than the install program/executable itself).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Ken.

You can try redownloading the installer from our website in case your download is corrupted. There is no way around the check though, other than not having any open windows with the title "Morpheus Photo Morpher"

Re-downloaded the install program. Still no luck.
Perplexing...

Would you be willing to arrange to recreate my problem?
i.e. Have version 3.01 installed on a Vista system and try to install v3.10?
Perhaps there are Morpheus registry settings that are preventing me from installing the newer version?

Please check that you did not create a folder with the same name as the prorgam title bar when running. To windows, having that folder open creates an open window with the exact same name, which is what the installer may be flagging as the open "program" - Explorer.exe with the name Morpheus Photo Morpher.
