Before I Buy The Suite

Postby Eclecticats » Wed Sep 17, 2008 7:59 am

I am trying the trial before I buy and have to know the following
before buying it.

Can I do this?

Use a full body picture of my husband as picture 1.

Use a full body picture of a cartoon figure, for example Wiley Coyote.

Then use only my husband's head and replace it over Wiley Coyote's head.

I want to end up with a picture of Wiley Coyote's body, but with my
husband's head instead of Wiley's head.

I tried, but cannot figure out how to do this.

Do the pictures have to be the same size?

They are not, Wiley's picture is much smaller and I want to reduce my husband's head down to fit in place of Wiley's.

Do you want to create an animation, or a still picture of what you describe?

It is generally much better if the pictures you are using at least have the same aspect ratio, but sometimes it is easier to work with pictures that are the same size as well. It is not a requirement though.

Still Picture

Postby Eclecticats » Wed Sep 17, 2008 8:04 pm

Every year I make my own Christmas Cards. I always use Christmas pictures from Print Shop and then place my head, my husbands head, and my cats head on them. Once I put our heads on Penquins, but they
do not look real.

The problem is when I do this, the faces created are done using Print Shop, and the faces are always round or oval. They do not look natural.

Can I send a picture to show you what I mean?

I want it to look smooth and real, but cannot find software that does this.
I have Adobe Shope Elements 6.0, but haven't been able to figure how it works either.

I am trying Morphe and haven't figured that out either.

If I can send a picture, how do I do I send it?

You may want to try Morpheus Photo Mixer (or Animation Suite) and use the Professional edition options to fade the dots the way you want to mix the head from one picture with the rest of another. See http://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheu ... osite6.php for example.

Sending Picture

Postby Eclecticats » Thu Sep 18, 2008 1:57 pm

Hope you get this picture.
It is from Photobucket.

I want to be able to capture my cats entire face, not rounded off.

Do you understand what I mean?

There is no limitation with Morpheus Photo Mixer to being just a circle like that. You can define the area and blend the two pictures together however you choose by placing dots and selecting the fade options.

Still Cannot Do It

Postby Eclecticats » Thu Oct 16, 2008 10:28 am

Can anyone send me step by step instructions on how to make the photomix as shown in my Penquin picture with my cat's head?
This picture I did has my cat's face rounded.

I want to use Morpheus to create it because the head will look more natural not a perfect round shape as in my picture, but cannot figure out how to do it.
I tried the dots and they go all over the place and somehow I get the whole body instead of my cat's head.

I need step by step instructions.

I cannot purchase until I know I can do it.

Very frustrated.......
