Hi guys,
I have morphed an image with a white background ie R-255 G=255 B=255. The background comes out tinted. I tried to select transparent background in options, but this creates some serious artefacts (pixelated distortion) around the image. Can some one please help me.
The photoshop file I used both have pure white as background. The tinting seems to occur half way during the morph - is when both images are overlapped.
Kind regards,
Milan
the files was render to flash (.swf)

Without seeing the morph its hard to say. Is your desktop set to 24/32bit color?

Could you post the .aml and two images used as well? You can just zip those 3 files together.

I'm still not really sure why the border tints away from white and then back. It could be a round-off bug in the program. A good solution is to check the box "Mask Border Triangles" in the options window, and make sure that no parts of your two images are cut off because of that. Its not likely that such a bug would be fixed in the current v1.85, if it is a bug. You may want to test the next release of Morpheus (2.0) and file a bug in the future if you still notice that problem and want to ensure it gets fixed

Thanks for the replies. It is much better when the mask boarder triangles box is checked.
Quick question: why doesn't the transparent background function do the trick?
When will version 2 be avialble for testing?
Thanks.

Morpheus v1.85 does not support transparency for any more then simply mapping it to a certain color when loading your input pictures. Morpheus v2.00 will have full alpha channel support.
v2.00 will be ready for testing sometime this year, when it nears completion. There is no real set date though. I will likely be the one taking names from the forums for beta testers. Anybody who wants to ensure certain features work the way they want or bugs are eliminated is free to apply. Since v2.00 will likely be a free upgrade from v1.85 I will be giving free copies to anybody who provides useful feadback during the beta test. Its going to be a minimum of a couple months still before it begins though.
