I want AVI

I just purchased the standard version of Morpher v3.10 and did not know that I would not be able to render in .avi format unless I purchased the Professional version. Can I upgrade to the professional vesion and pay only the difference ($30.00) or do I have to purchase at the original $59.95 and therefore waste the $29.95 that I have already paid.

Yes, you can upgrade for the difference by selecting the upgrade discount from the purchase page and verifying your previous activation code.

I have the the Professional addition but nowhere does it say avi on it. I need this to use with movies I make - where can I ask about this please

Check Help/About Morpheus to see the current version/edition. AVI output is available when you render your timeline, as long as you have the Professional edition.
