Trying to create a quicktime movie with Alpha

Postby purly » Tue Jul 15, 2008 3:49 pm

I've cut out two peoples heads from their backgrounds using photoshop. I would like to import only the head layer into morph, complete my morph then export it as a quicktime movie with an alpha channel. I then want to bring that quicktime movie into after effects where I can place my own background under the heads morphing. Any ideas on how to do this?

You would need to save your files in a portable format such as PNG, with alpha channels, and using the Professional edition of Morpheus Photo Morpher, you can render the output to include the alpha channel in your animation. You can render the alpha channel to any format which supports it such as a series of still PNGs, or any installed codec for AVI/Quicktime (depending on if you have the Windows or Mac version) which supports 32bit with alpha channel.
