HELP: Can't load any movie in Pro !!

Postby Geoff Vane » Wed May 14, 2008 9:17 am

I need to morph two movies NOW.
Every movie is corrupt or no codec can be found.
This can not be true, even uncompressed movies are refused.
Please help me right now, I am on a deadline here!!!

PLease tell me how to morph two movies fast:

Should I make some keyframes and adjust the dots for both movies at each keyframe or what?

You need the Industrial edition to import movies instead of still pictures. Yes, you would then create picture key frames on each movie and line up the dots as often as you want with as many key frames as you want to add to each movie.

HELP: Still no movies

Postby Geoff Vane » Wed May 14, 2008 3:00 pm

All very funny, but I still can't load any movie at all!

I have the industrial version, that's what I read when I click "about".

Please elaborate at what is wrong here. I right clicked somewhere and then I could highlight "load movies" but nothing is happening here.

Please HELP HELP HELP.

You load movies through the regular Load Picture button.
Try, as an example, C:\Windows\Clock.avi which should load just fine. It comes with Windows XP.

I have tried to import the clock.avi.

Sadly I must report that Morpheus refuses to load it.
Either corrupted file or no codec.... (which is not true)

I can't load any movie.

Clock.avi is compressed with the MS-RLE codec, which comes with Windows, and tested to work on everything from a default Windows XP install to a up to date XP SP2 install. You must have some other piece of software installed which is interfering with DirectShow's ability to load the AVI files for Morpheus. You can try emailing support using the link at the top of this page, and see if a work-around can be found for whatever other piece of software you have.
