AVI rendering

Postby Greetje » Wed Mar 19, 2008 2:52 pm

I've been just reading over everything on the website and realized I purchased the entire suite for $59.95 but what I wanted was just the photo morpher which is listed for the same price $59.95. I was specially looking for AVI and apparently got confused with all the choices.
Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so much

You can compare features of each program/edition at http://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheu ... ompare.php
You can upgrade to a higher edition, or from one of the 3 individual programs to the Animation Suite at the same or higher edition, for the difference in price between the two. Just select the Upgrade Discount on the purchase page on our website.

I assume there is no way I can change my order to just the Photo Morpher? The avi choice was available in there but not in the Standard Suite but yet they are the same price and I really won't be using the other features of the suite.
I see I can't call customer service. Do you know if this is possible to change my order? thanx again

Contact support using the link at the top of this page. What you can probably do is place a new order for the Morpher Professional, and refund the Animation Suite Standard order as a duplicate.

Thanks....I just emailed support and explained everything. I don't want to purchase the professional morpher before I hear back from them unless you feel it would be best to do it that way.
At least the price is the same so there shouldn't be a problem, I hope.

Similar problem

Postby djleekee » Mon Apr 14, 2008 11:14 am

I originally found what a great application Morpheus was many years back and bought 1.85.

I thought I'd try the latest 3.10 version and downloaded the trial. It seems that it has been updated and the interface much easier to use.

I thought I'd then upgrade and purchase the newer version as it done everything that the old version done plus a few more things!

Once activated it seems that a lot of the features are now greyed out and I can only export to GIF and SWF...etc.

So Ive gone from a fully functioning and exporting to AVI 1.85 to a substandard 3.10. I refuse to pay another $59 as ive already paid twice.

I feel the website is misleading and when using the trial version it is obvious what features are included in which version. when people purchase a certain version they expect it to be exactly the same as the trial version.

Morpheus v1.85 did not feature AVI rendering in the Standard edition. It was available only in Morpheus v1.85 Pro, this is no different than v3.10 is now.

Also, it looks like you might have upgraded directly to Morpheus Photo Animation Suite. You can upgrade from v1.85 to just Morpheus Photo Morpher and still receive the upgrade discount of $20.00 from Morpheus v1.85 Pro. You can compare each program, edition, and price at http://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheu ... ompare.php

Thanks for the swift reply.

Yep I think you are right in saying that 1.85 didnt feature AVI output!

I think the major problem here is that there are too many products with similar sounding titles.

There should surely be TWO applications one with basic functions and one PRO.

There should be a demo of EACH accurately reflecting the abilities and limitations of each version thus allowing the user to choose whether to buy based on the ACTUAL specifications of the version they have used not one that they have to buy for much more money than expected!

It's just that I can visit this URL http://www.morpheussoftware.net/

And scroll down the page where Morpheus Photo Morpherâ„¢ v3.10 is being sold.

One of the lines states "No technical skills required – anyone can make a photo animation in just seconds! Save morphs in Flash, AVI, Animated GIF and other popular formats."

It is not clear from this page that there are various versions and limitations to some versions which dont include operations that are clearly listed here!

The home page talks about Morpheus Photo Morpher as a whole, you can't buy it without passing at least the purchase page at https://www.morpheussoftware.net/morphe ... rchase.php which also lists out the different editions of the program.
