Hi

In my company we do not allow any users to install their own software for security reasons, an administrator must do so....
So I installed this software (morpheus) as an admin and then let the user login and it said invalid permissions...I then gave the user admin access, installed it as the user, and then took admin access away...still same problem "Invalid Permissions"....as an admin the program morpheus runs fine....
can you guys help me out with this?
are there some secret folders morpheus installs into possibly??

thanks for your time.

It is likely registry access, not file access, that you need. Read/Write access is required to HKLM and HKCR in order to store settings and ensure the icon and shortcut works for the file type. Currently there is no way around this, it is required that you run as a local administrator or power user if you are using NT/2000/XP. In the future we may or may not add support for storing options in HKCU instead.

thanks
