I have Morpheus Professional version but Final Cut will not import the rendered movie. I have tried various QuickTime codecs but haven't had any success. Any help/adviced most gratefully received!

You may need to contact the authors of Final Cut and find out exactly what formats that program accepts. If it accepts AVIs, then you may need to install the correct windows DirectShow Codec for the codec Final Cut wants. Morpheus can use any codec you have installed in Windows.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have Morpheus for Mac and am not running on Windows.

Well similar things would apply. The Mac version uses Quicktime instead of DirectShow, and OS X takes care of the compression using any installed Quicktime Codec. Some programs (Windows or Mac) may only accept a file which uses the one specific codec it wants to work with though.

Thanks for your comments. I have imported the rendered QT movie into iMovie and then exported out again. Final Cut imported this file with no problem! Will need to play around a bit more as it doesn't make any sense why FC isn't recognising the initial QT file.
