1. I just downloaded my purchased copy of Morpheus. It didn't come with ANY example pictures, and
2. I can't open any files created on my machine regardless of format. I have tried jpg, tiff, png etc., have tried various procedures. I am not using photos, but am looking for a better animation for flames generated in Oxidizer.
3. My machine is a MacIntel Pro System 10.4.10

Morpheus comes with several sample aml files and pictures for those files. Use the wizard in the program to load the samples if you cannot locate them manually. Please follow through the tutorial included with the program for the basics of how to use Morpheus. It sounds like perhaps you are trying to load the images as if they were your morph layouts instead of loading the pictures into your layout after you create a blank layout.

Perhaps the examples you cite are on the CD/DVD-delivered version, but not on the download delivered version. The download version contains the morpheus suite pkg which only delivers the app and not any other associated files. If there is a download area for files, I would appreciate knowing about it.

No, a CD is no different. The samples are all in the *.pkg file and are installed onto your system when you install the program.

In case anyone else runs into this problem, it might be helpful for them to know that all the package files are written to Library/Application Support/Morpheus Software/. The only way I was able to find this out was by running the installer again and opening the package contents/files window of the installer.

The correct way to find the samples is to simply use the wizard as mentioned already. There is an option to load a sample included with the program which will automatically put you into the correct folder location.
