I have activated my software but the move dots button is grayed out , what do I need to do?

Either Morph / Show Dots In Picture, or make sure you have a layout even loaded.

I have loaded pictures (two in basic wizard mode) entered dots in picture one but the move dots button and select dots buttons are grayed out

I'm not sure how you added dots. The add dot button is never enabled unless the move and select dots buttons are enabled as well.
